Using Social Media for Research

Using Social Media for Research

Whether you are a B2B or B2C business, the fact is that social media is an essential tool for marketing and research. You can use it not only to promote your goods and services but to gauge what is popular, what’s not, how well your competitors are liked/followed and how they deal with feedback, what your potential clients/customers think of you and your industry….the possibilities are endless.

The question is HOW to go about it and WHERE is the best place for your business. There are so many avenues to take and bad practices happening, where do you turn?

I recently read an article which is a great starting point for these questions. It’s based on a report by Mike Stelzner (2012 Social Media Marketing Industry Report), where he asked over 1900 B2B marketers to share their thoughts on social media marketing.
